In june 2018 the Digital Economic Association of Georgia (DEAG) has been established in Tbilis with more than 50 members already working to implement Blockchain Technologies in Georgia’s economy.
Blockchain has already been implemented in several government sectors of Georgia and it does not seem to stop here. The DEAG believes that Blockchain is one of the main key to improving counrty’s economy. The DEAG will put forward legislative initiatives to regulate Blockchain Technology in order to promote a digital business culture, stimulate and support the business environment, prepare investment platforms, develop the capital market, create grounds for cooperation between state and/or private entities and develop digital electronic payment systems
