Georgia’s Minister of Finance, Nikoloz Gagua, signed loan and grant agreements yesterday with the Managing Director of the Scandinavian Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) and its head investments manager.
NEFCO has decided to invest 2.83 mln EUR in a project to help make public buildings in Georgia more energy efficient. Project aims to introduce renewable and alternative energy sources. Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership will also pledge 1.87 mln EUR to the project.
The project is planned to be carried out in 2018-2020
